Do you know where you will spend eternity when your life ends? The Bible says there are only two places, heaven or hell. The great news is … all you need is Jesus!

What do you need to go to heaven?

Jesus! “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me” (John 14:6).

Why do you need Jesus?

Because of Sin and Hell! God is so holy, He cannot allow one sin into heaven. If you committed just three sins a day, multiplied by a year you would have 1,095 sins. Sins like jealousy, lying, stealing, lust, hatred, disobeying your parents, or using God’s name as a swear word. “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned” (Romans 5:12). “The wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). “All liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone” (Revelation 21:8).

Who is Jesus?

God in the flesh! He lived a perfect life and performed many miracles. He loved you and took the punishment you deserve when He died on the cross. His blood paid for all of your sins—past, present and future. Then Jesus rose from the dead to prove He paid your debt in full. “Christ died for our sins … was buried … He rose again the third day” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

How do you receive Jesus?

Repent and Believe! First, please stop trusting in things that cannot pay for sin—good works, religious groups, trying to be good enough. Second, put your faith in Jesus alone! “The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23). “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved” (Acts 16:31). When you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ alone for salvation, God will forgive your sins and give you eternal life.
