The painting on the front cover is one that I did with florescent chalk while using black light. My desire is to express the love that Christ has for mankind as proclaimed in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

For You He CAME

“But when the fulness of time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons” (Galatians 4:4,5). “In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him” (1 John 4:9).

For You He DIED

“But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). “For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21). “… and without shedding of blood is no remission” (Hebrews 9:22). “For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit” (1 Peter 3:18).

For You He AROSE

“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:3,4). “And that He died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto Him which died for them, and rose again” (2 Corinthians 5:15).

For You He OFFERS ETERNAL LIFE

“And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life” (1 John 5:20). “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:9,10,13). “But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name” (John 1:12). “That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:15).

For You He LIVES

“Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us” (Romans 8:34). “Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them” (Hebrews 7:25).

For You He COMES

“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also…. I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me” (John 14:3,6).

If you have never done so, I urge you to turn to God and put your faith in Jesus Christ, who died for you and rose again. You may want to express your decision and faith in a prayer like this: “Dear Lord, I see ‘FOR YOU’ is really ‘FOR ME’. I believe the Son of God came to earth to suffer and die for my sins and through His sacrifice on my behalf, the penalty for my sins has been paid in full. I now receive you, the living Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior. Thank you for the wonderful gift of salvation. Amen.”
