Walking with Jesus begins with Salvation

We All Need Jesus: For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

God Offers Sinful People Eternal Life: For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

Jesus Died For Us: But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

Put Your Trust In Him: For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

Ask Jesus to Save You: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

Be Made New: Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17

I Want to Share Some of My Favorite Bible Verses for Your Growth and Encouragement

Follow Jesus: Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12

Read God’s Word:  Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” Matthew 4:4

Pray: This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 1 John 5:14

Desire Truth: Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Psalms 25:4

Don’t Doubt: But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do. James 1:6-8

Live By Faith: Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1

Persevere In Trials: Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:2-4

Be Joyful: Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and even though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls. 1 Peter 1:8-

Bring Rejoicing to Heaven: In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents. Luke 15:10

Bear Spiritual Fruit: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Galatians 5:22-23

Love Others as You are Loved: This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 1 John 4:9-11

Rest in Jesus: Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30

Check your Fruit: By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Matthew 7:16

Be Sure of Your Salvation: Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a [precious] few find it. Matthew 7:13-14

Characteristics of Your Walk with Jesus

Walk in Obedience and Love: And this is love: that we walk in obedience to His commands. As you have heard from the beginning, His command is that you walk in love. 2 John 6

Walk Humbly with God: And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8

Walk in Faith: For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” Romans 1:17

Walk with Jesus on the path of righteousness!
