You’ve probably heard the saying, “It’s a matter of life and death.” There certainly are some decisions in life that are super-important, but there is one decision that is literally . . .
A matter of life and breath.
Each of us will one day take our final breath here on this earth. At that moment, we will transition to one of two places — either the Presence of God in Heaven or separated from God in Hell.
This leads to a simple and super-important question …
If you took your last breath tonight, would you go to Heaven?
The key that unlocks the door to Heaven … The pathway that leads down the road to Heaven … The only way to get to Heaven is through the man who said,
“I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6).
Jesus Christ came to this earth as the only “key” we need to open the door to Heaven. He is the path to life.
If you would like to invite Jesus to save you from eternal separation from God, talk to Him. You may want to pray a prayer like this today:
“Father God, I know that I am separated from You and I need Your help. Right now, I would like to receive Jesus Christ, Your only Son, as my Savior. Jesus, please come into my life and show me how to live for You. Help me to be ready for the day I take my last breath and step into eternity where I will live with You forever. Thank You for loving me and giving me eternal life. In Your Name, Jesus, I pray. Amen.”
If you sincerely and honestly from your heart prayed this prayer, you have just made the best decision for your life!! You may not understand all the details of this decision, but that’s ok. Your journey has just begun. Learn more about what Jesus has done for you by reading the Bible. Talk with friendly people in a church family that teach the truth from God’s Word. And remember that you can talk honestly with God anytime through prayer, and most of all, you can trust Jesus every day to lead and guide you in the greatest adventure as a child of God.
May you be blessed with Heaven’s Best!
