God is Holy and without sin. Jesus said, “No one is good except God alone” (Mark 10:18). We are ALL sinners. (Ever lied, stolen, lusted, etc? All of these are sins). God cannot let sin go unpunished, “for the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23).
But God is rich in mercy and loves YOU very much and is not willing that any should perish (2 Peter 3:9) so He came to earth, in the form of a man (Jesus), to take OUR punishment on the cross. Before He gave up His Spirit, He said “it is fiinished” (John 19:30). He paid OUR debt so that all who choose to believe in Him can have eternal life instead of eternal punishment in hell (John 3:16). Jesus said, “And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life” (Matthew 25:46).
Will you seek the LORD and accept His FREE Gift?
