A wise man once said, “In life, eight or nine out of ten times, things will not go your way.”

We all know we must fight in those challenging times. The question is, when you fight in those eight or nine out of ten times, who is fighting with you? Are you fighting alone?

Some of you will say, “I have someone who fights with me.” That is good. Then the next question is, does this person always fight by your side—not just sometimes or even most of the time, but through every moment of your every struggle? Think about it.

I can testify to you that if you trust in Jesus, you will have someone who will fight every single one of your battles with you side by side, through every moment of your fight. He will always be there. Wherever you are, he is. Whatever goes through your head, he knows. And he will speak to you, guide you, and comfort you. He will help you. Even when you are asleep, he will be fighting for you.

Having Jesus by your side to help fight your battles is just one benefit that comes from knowing him. Turn to Jesus now as your Lord and Savior. The Bible says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

The gospel is the good news about Jesus Christ. He says:

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
