“Give me liberty or give me death!” ~ Patrick Henry
The willingness of others to die, grants us liberties we enjoy today. God sent His Son to die and rise again for us, so that we could enjoy liberation from the bondage of sin and death if we believe on Him (John 3:16).
“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” ~ Phil. 1:21
While we are freed from the bondage of sin and death upon accepting Christ as our Savior, the presence of sin still exists around us. God desires that we stand fast in our liberty in Him (Galatians 5:1) as we grow in our understanding of how great God is.
