The Way, the Truth, and the Life
Jesus said, “I Am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).
Jesus does not simply teach the way or point the way; he is “THE WAY.” “No man cometh unto the Father, but by me,” wipes away any other proposed way to heaven by good works, religious ritual, baptism or church attendance. There is only ONE WAY and that way is Jesus Christ.
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
Jesus Christ is the “Great Physician” who alone can heal your problem of sin.
“These things have I written unto you … that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God” (1 John 5:13).
“In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death” (Proverbs 12:28).
Please follow The Pathway
to Heaven today.
Did you know that God, in His Word, has given us a spiritual road map to eternal life in heaven? Some refer to it as the Romans road. It is based on a series of Scripture verses from the biblical book of Romans.
• Are you willing to admit you’re a sinner?
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
• Do you acknowledge that the consequence of sin is eternal death in hell?
“For the wages of sin is death…” (Romans 6:23a).
• Do you believe that Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, died on the cross as your substitute, shed His sinless blood to pay the price for your sin, and then rose again from the dead?
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).
• Do you agree that salvation comes by repentance and faith alone, not by church membership or religious ritual or good works or effort on your part?
“…the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23b).
• Are you willing to repent and place your faith on Jesus Christ alone to save you from your sin?
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13).
Jesus said, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life” (John 5:24).
The Bible is clear and teaches that you will spend eternity in one of two literal places: either heaven or hell. If you choose the path of salvation in Christ alone, then your sins will be forgiven and you will possess eternal life in heaven.
If, on the other hand, you choose not to repent and trust in Christ alone, then you will spend eternity in hell. Are you willing to turn from your sin and cry out to God for His mercy?
Jesus said, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
You may be wondering, how then do I receive eternal life? Simply by “believing.” It is not just praying a prayer; it is trusting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. You are saved in one step: “…Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved…” (Acts 16:31).
Cry out to God right now for His free gift of salvation and become one of God’s children today! Then, having received the gift of eternal life, live your life by faith in the Word of God and join a Bible-believing New Testament Church that preaches the Gospel and believes the Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
Jesus said, “… and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out … I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” (John 6:37; Hebrews 13:5b).
