When a Brother or Sister in the wind passes away, I have heard that he or she joined the Forever Chapter.
It’s almost like we believe they are all in one place and are all better off. Friend, I really wish it were so. But the fact of the matter is they are in one of two Forever Chapters.
One is Forever Heaven and the other Forever Hell. Like the names imply, these are forever. You can never retire out or change chapters. Once you are in, it is final!
Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”
I have often heard Brothers joke about the
Forever Chapter being Hell and they will all see each other there and party and ride together forever. According to the Word of God, Hell is no party and no ride, but most certainly is forever.
Luke 16:23 “And in hell he lift up his eyes,
being in torments.”
Mark 9:44 “Where their worm dieth not,
and the fire is not quenched.”
Revelation 14:11 “And the smoke of their
torment ascendeth up for ever and ever:
and they have no rest day nor night.”
That doesn’t sound like a good time to me. As a matter of fact, some who are there would like to warn the ones they love to not come there.
Luke 16:28 “For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.”
I have been around those who seem to think all Brothers and Sisters go to the Forever Chapter called Heaven. It makes you feel better about
losing them, but unfortunately it is not true.
Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”
Not all are there, but this is the Chapter I want you to join.
Revelation 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
Revelation 21:23 “And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.”
Revelation 21:27 “And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.”
I would say there is a pretty clear choice.
How do you join Forever Hell Chapter? Do
nothing, you are on your way already.
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
How do you join Forever Heaven Chapter? Repent of your sin and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. This “believing in” means to put 100% faith and trust in, not just “yeah, I believe in Jesus” ho hum.
Our sin cost Jesus’ life and that should change the way you think about how you have lived your life so far.
Mark 1:15 “And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”
John 3:15-16 “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
There you have it, friend. You got to read about the two Forever Chapters and the requirements to get in each one. I hope you will join me in the Forever Heaven Chapter. Remember, there is no exit from either one.
If you chose the Forever Heaven Chapter you need to tell others about your choice, get baptized, join a good Bible preaching church, read your Bible and pray every day and fellowship with other Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
