Why did God not heal me?

Finally, there is an answer to your question!

God: “Because there is grace in your situation.”

Okay, does this answer even make any sense, you may ask? Then God answers again: “It is a privilege for you to know.” God has given you the privilege of timing—the opportunity to prepare yourself for the greatest Homecoming! This is a rare privilege life does not offer us all. Run with it and make the best use of the little time left by reconciling with Him and resting in the assurance of your future place in eternity; it is real!

If we all knew “when”, then no human would take the path to hell … we would all repent before we took our last breath. It hurts God deeply to see that many are not seizing this opportunity. Imagine those who die untimely without Christ; if only they could turn back the hands of time, they would do anything to be privy to this grace period.

One of the criminals who was crucified alongside Jesus Christ got this grace. In taking hold of it, Jesus told him “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise” (Luke 23:43).

You do not have anything to lose if you make this choice at this time. He may give you the miracle you are expecting through physical healing, but He has surely promised to give you the greatest miracle of all, which is salvation. 

“And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgement” (Hebrews 9:27). We all must pay this price—at different times and in different ways. There is peace in the place of acceptance which we often deny, but God is saying that even if he does not heal you (which He has the power to do), He will save you!

Worship God with your questions even in your pain, and know for a fact that:

• God is God

• God is Sovereign

• God is good

• Even in my trials, God does not love me less (Luke 22:41-44).

Prayer: “Lord, I thank you in all things for this grace and privilege to know that I can be with You in eternity. Please forgive me all my sins and grant me strength, peace, comfort, and healing in my soul and spirit. And may my acceptance of Jesus Christ as the Son of the living God and my salvation usher me into God’s eternal presence with joy in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!”

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6).
