There are many important decisions for one to make in this life. Choosing a life partner, choosing what course to study at college, choosing a career and choosing whether to buy a home or not.

But there is one decision which is the most important one you will make in your lifetime:

Where will you be for eternity?

In Heaven, a place of peace and joy or in Hell, a place of punishment and pain.

Friend, I strongly encourage you to stop and consider this, as the choice you make will determine the destination of your soul for eternity.

The Bible teaches about two eternal destinations.

Heaven

We are born into this world sinners, “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me” (Psalm 51:5). We cannot enter into Heaven as we are. The good news of the Gospel is that the Lord Jesus Christ has “put away sin by the sacrifice of himself” (Hebrews 9:26). He bore “our sins in his own body on the tree” (1 Peter 2:24). Will you trust the Son of GOD who died for you and me on Calvary’s cross?

Hell

The Bible tells of the rich man who died apart from God and said “I am tormented in this flame” (Luke 16:24). Some people question the existence of Hell, but the Lord Jesus spoke of this place in the Bible. By making the decision to reject the Lord Jesus Christ who paid in full the penalty of our sins on the cross, you will end up in Hell.

GOD made the decision to send forth his “Son to be the Saviour of the world” (1 John 4:14).

What is your decision? Heaven or Hell
