I hope you have a good day. In fact, I hope you have a good forever!

Some days are better than others—some are pretty rotten, some are ok, and some are really good. However, when it comes to forever, there are only two options: fantastic or disastrous, Heaven or Hell. There are no other choices.

Here is how you can be sure you will have a good forever in Heaven:

You have to realize you don’t deserve to go to Heaven, because you have done things that God cannot allow. The Bible explains that “all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” And “there is none righteous, no, not one.” In fact, the only option we really deserve when it comes to the hereafter is Hell. “It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” If you don’t have a relationship with God, He will say, “I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.” Where will sinners go? “The fearful, and unbelieving … and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

But there’s good news! You don’t need to face the punishment of Hell because God has made the way for you to enjoy Heaven. “By grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.” “In Thy presence is fulness of joy; at Thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”

God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to pay for your sins by dying on the cross. “Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree.” “The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”

So, how can you receive His payment and have your sins forgiven? Have an honest talk with God. Confess that you are a sinner, believe that Jesus died to pay for your sins, and ask forgiveness in His name. Only Jesus, God’s Son, can save you. “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Don’t you think today is a good day to make sure your forever will be a good one?

You can talk to God and say something like this: “Dear God, I believe in your Son, Jesus, who paid for my sins on the cross. Forgive me. Save me from Hell. Help me live a life that pleases you. Thank you for making the way for me to go to Heaven. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

The Bible Tells What’s Really True

The Scriptures are totally reliable, being given to man supernaturally by the Spirit of God. There is only One God, though He functions simultaneously as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God created life and the universe in six days. Adam and Eve were the first humans, but their disobedience brought a curse on all mankind. Jesus, the sinless Son of God, came to earth through the virgin birth to remove this curse by dying on the cross for our sins. He arose from the dead after three days and later returned to Heaven. Those who truly believe in Jesus (who He is and what He did) will confess their sins to Him and go to be with Him when they die. We cannot do anything to earn eternal life or to escape eternal Hell, except believe the truth about Jesus. Satan deceives people about the truth, but he will eventually be cast into an eternal lake of fire along with all those who reject God. At any moment Christ will come for His believers, and after seven years of supernatural destruction, He will set up His Kingdom on earth.
