By Michelle Barden, Kingdom of Heaven Teachings
Do you know that God loves you and there is nothing you must do to gain or deserve the love of the Creator (Elohim), the one and only true God? He loves you because He created you. He longs to have a relationship with you here on this earth. He longs to be your Father, Provider, Protector, Teacher, Comforter, Healer, Friend, and Counselor.
sin separates us from God.
Unfortunately, sin entered the world with a deception from Satan (a fallen cherubim) and the disobedience of Adam and Eve when they chose to believe that deception. We have been separated from God and all that He has for us ever since. The good news is that God provided a way for that separation to be undone and all we must do is acknowledge it and receive it.
John 3:16 & 17 tells us, “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge and condemn the world [that is, to initiate the final judgment of the world], but that the world might be saved through Him.”
God sent His Son, Jesus, into the world so that we could be united to Him and have eternal life.
John 17:3 says, “Now this is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true [supreme and sovereign] God, and [in the same manner know] Jesus [as the] Christ whom You have sent.”
There are two voices and two paths in this world: God’s way or Satan’s way.
We have free will to choose which voice we listen to and which path we take. God created us to be His family. Satan tries to deceive and steal us away from all that God has for us so he can keep us eternally separated from God. Satan lies, deceives, and twists God’s truth to get you to think that what he is offering is better, but his way leads only to bondage and separation from the One who created you. God loves you and He never forces His will upon your life. In fact, He will allow things in your life even if it is against His will because it is what you choose and allow in your life. He waits for you to choose Him. He desires to have a relationship with us and waits patiently for us to turn to Him so He can show us a better way to live.
2 Peter 3:9 tells us, “The Lord does not delay [as though He were unable to act] and is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.”
God’s desire is for every single human being to choose to come back to a relationship with Him. He provided the way for sin to be cleansed from our lives so we could come back into union with Him and He did that through the blood of Jesus and the gift of Salvation.
I love John 10:10 for it speaks perfectly to the reality of this world: “The thief [Satan] comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I [Jesus] came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].”
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
He stands at the door of your heart knocking and all you must do is open the door and let Him in. Let Him in to clean up any messes and sin in your life, to heal all hurts, traumas, and disappointments, and to bring you a life that is full of joy and enjoyable.
The price has been paid in full by Jesus Christ on the cross and all you must do to receive it is acknowledge that you need Him as your Savior and put your trust in Him. There is nothing you can ever do to earn it on your own; it is only available through Christ’s sacrifice.
Salvation is defined as:
1) Preservation or deliverance from harm, ruin, loss, destruction, failure, difficulty, or danger
2) Deliverance from sin and its consequences
3) Liberation from ignorance or illusion
This is what Jesus died on the cross to make available to you.
Are you ready to accept Him as your Savior today and receive the free gift of Salvation?
If you are, it is easy. Let me show you how.
Romans 3:23-24 shows us, “All have sinned and continually fall short of the glory of God, and are being justified [declared free of the guilt of sin, made acceptable to God, and granted eternal life] as a gift by His [precious, undeserved] [a]grace, through the redemption [the payment for our sin] which is [provided] in Christ Jesus.”
And Romans 10:8-10 says, “But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word [the message, the basis] of faith which we preach— because if you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His power, authority, and majesty as God], and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes [in Christ as Savior] resulting in his justification [that is, being made righteous—being freed of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to God]; and with the mouth he acknowledges and confesses [his faith openly], resulting in and confirming [his] salvation.”
All we must do to be saved is admit that we cannot be redeemed and brought back into union with God without the sacrifice that Jesus made. We need to admit that we need Jesus as our Lord and Savior so that we can be back in fellowship with God and not be separated from Him here on earth or for all eternity. If you believe that, then confess it with your mouth and surrender your heart to Jesus. It’s as easy as telling Jesus that you know you need Him and want Him to be your Savior—that you want Him to be the King of your heart.
Let Him pour His healing love upon your heart. Seek to know Him better and as you start to understand the depth of His love for you, your love for Him will grow. And out of that love will grow a beautiful, eternal relationship and life with God. From that love, Jesus will help you to remove any habitual sins that keep you from all the good things that God has for your life. Seek Jesus and He will find you, because trust me when I say He loves you and is seeking to have a relationship with you.
