*** This is a tract which we wish was not necessary, but one we are honored to produce in memory of our brave young men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice. ***
There is a full page reserved for information (testimony, pictures, etc.) about the fallen hero. The images above are an example of one completed tract. We can also put a picture or favorite Scripture on the cover. The rest of the tract contains the following message ...
As Americans, we honor the memory of those who have paid the ultimate price to defend our country, protect its way of life, and support the cause of freedom around the world. It is through the service and sacrifice of these heros that we continue to enjoy the God-given rights of “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
There is another sacrifice we would like to tell you about, too—one which was made to give us everlasting life, spiritual freedom, and the greatest happiness we will ever enjoy. This sacrifice was made by Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who left the glories of Heaven to walk on this earth and then lay down His life for the sin of the world. Why did He do this?
Even though we live in the “land of the free,” every American is born a slave to sin (John 8:34). We try (and fail) to break the chains of sin by doing good deeds, turning over a new leaf, or practicing religion. While these are all good things, they are not able to free us from the bondage of sin. When Jesus laid down His life on the cross of Calvary and rose again from the dead, he paid the penalty our sins demand, making the way for sinners like you and me to come to God.
Now, everyone who recognizes their need of a savior and turns to God through faith in Jesus Christ is washed clean in God’s sight and given eternal life and a home in Heaven. Even more, because Jesus has broken the power of sin, all who trust in Christ are set free to live a life that honors God. He gives us a brand new life with a new purpose, a new passion, and the power to serve Him instead of sin.
Do you want to be free to enjoy the life God has for you—now and for eternity? Turn to Him, and trust Jesus Christ as your savior.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” (John 8:36).
