This is the story of Peter’s journey from fear to faith

"I met this man who was unlike anyone I had ever known."

"Three years ago, I was just a fisherman ... And then I met Jesus."

"He performed many miracles. He taught the people all about God the Father."

"The religious leaders grew jealous and had Him arrested."

"I was scared, so I ran away and denied even knowing Him."

"But Jesus did not resist. He allowed Himself to be sentenced to death and hung on a cross. He sacrificed Himself to pay for our sin."

Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God. (1 Peter 3:18a)

"At the time, we wondered how it was possible that the Son of God could die."

"But three days later Jesus rose from the dead!"

Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that He should be holden of it. (Acts 2:24)

"And then He ascended back to Heaven. Now I will spend the rest of my life telling people about Jesus!"

God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with Him. And we are witnesses of all things which He did … Whom they slew and hanged on a tree: Him God raised up the third day, and shewed Him openly … He commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is He which was ordained of God … that through His name whosoever believeth in Him shall receive remission of sins. (Acts 10:38-43 – selected portions)

"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for my sins and rising from the grave to give me eternal life. I now place my trust in you for my salvation."

"What about you? Will you turn to God in repentance and place your trust in Jesus?"

God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
