You may tie your shoelaces in the morning, but the undertaker may untie them before night. "Prepare to meet thy God" (Amos 4:12).

Have you ever considered the future of your eternal soul? We are all on our way to eternity. As sinners we are deserving of eternal judgment in hell. But God, in His infinite love and grace, has provided the way of salvation through Jesus Christ, His only Son, who died for our sins and rose again. Trust Him today, and pass “from death unto life.”

“What shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” (Mark 8:36)

“All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)

“It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” (Hebrews 9:27)

“These shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” (Matthew 25:46)

“The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)

“As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:14-18)

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9,10)

Your Eternity—Where?

Did you ever think as the hearse goes by,

That “It is appointed unto men once to die”?

When your time comes, where will you be

To spend your never-ending eternity?

Here you may work, buy, borrow, and save,

But lose it all when you go to the grave.

Money a dead man’s hand cannot hold,

Nor can it purchase salvation untold.

Life everlasting God will freely give,

You may have it now; trust Christ and live!
