You cannot experience eternal life by going to church, by living a good life, by doing more good than bad, or by following any of the human religions.

God says the human heart is desperately wicked and full of evil; who can know it?

Our guilty conscience bears witness to this fact, that we have all broken God’s law. The penalty for this is death. That is why we all die and that is why we all need a Savior. A Savior that not only can cleanse us from sin but give us eternal life.

Heaven is for those who have been made right with God by an incredible selfless act. A gift so precious, so fantastic, so immeasurable, that to reject it is to sentence oneself to eternal death. A gift that asks you to simply choose life.

God says there is none that are good, no not one; there are none that are righteous. Therefore, you are to choose the gift, you are to choose the gospel, you are to choose life, you are to choose JESUS.

As the gospel hymn says, “Jesus paid it all ,all to Him I owe.”

On a cross many years ago the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, was crucified and died for the sins of all that will believe in Him. He is now resurrected and seated at the right hand of God the Father. He has stretched out His hand for you to receive the gift. The scripture says we are saved by grace through faith, and that not of ourselves; it is a GIFT of God.

Will you by faith receive the gift?

Will you by faith believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins? Will you by faith believe that He rose again, and will you believe that He is the one and only true living God?

The love of God calls to you. Will you accept this precious gift? Will you accept the love God has given? To reject it is to reject the only true path to God. To reject it is to sentence yourself to eternal death.

Jesus said: “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)

The time is NOW.

Open up your heart. Through faith receive Him into your heart, turning from sin and trusting Jesus to lead you, love you, and forgive you. You can read about His love and instructions for your life in the New Testament of the Bible. Ask Jesus to direct you to a loving, forgiving, caring church.

Make Christian friends. Above all pray. Jesus loves you and wants to hear from you daily.

Through prayer, thank Him, praise Him, tell Him your wants and needs. He is there through the Holy Spirit to help you with your struggles.
