Truth 1

God Loves You.

God knows all about you.

Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off … and art acquainted with all my ways. Psalms 139:2-3b

God cares about you.

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1 Peter 5:7

God wants to have a personal relationship with you.

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10

God loves you.

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation [i.e. the sacrifice that satisfies our sin debt] for our sins. 1 John 4:10

If you believe Truth 1, then

trust God.

Truth 2

God Is Holy And We’re All Sinners.

God is holy (without sin).

Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the Lord our God is holy. Psalms 99:9

We are all sinners. “Sin” is breaking any of God’s commandments.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

The Bible says our “good works” will not justify us before God.

But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags. Isaiah 64:6a

Trying to live a good life and attempting to keep the Ten Commandments (the law) won’t get you into Heaven.

Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. For by the law is the knowledge of sin. Romans 3:19-20b

If you believe Truth 2, then

humble yourself before God.

Truth 3

There’s A Penalty For Sin.

Here’s the consequences of our sins.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23

“Death” here means a spiritual separation from God. God’s judgment is inescapable.

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. Hebrews 9:27 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened … and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Revelation 20:12ab

The final destination for unbelievers:

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:15

Because God is a holy and righteous judge, He cannot simply excuse or sins as if they never happened. God’s righteousness requires that a penalty must be paid for our sins.

If you believe Truth 3, then

fear the consequences of your sins.

Truth 4

Jesus Died To Pay The Penalty For Our Sins.

Jesus, God’s Son, came to earth and willingly died to pay the penalty for our sins, so that we don’t have to.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

The Bible makes the clear that there is no other way to Heaven.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12

Jesus claimed to be “the Way” to Heaven to the exclusion of all other ways. If anyone could get to Heaven by living a good life, then Jesus would not have had to die.

If you believe Truth 4, then

recognize that God’s gift of eternal life is available.

Truth 5

You Can Only Be Saved By Faith In Jesus Christ.

Though God’s gift of salvation is available to all, God gives every person the freedom to either accept or reject His gift of eternal life.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13

If you would like to get saved and have 100% assurance that you are going to Heaven when you die, pray to God right now. Praying is just talking to God. Agree with God that you’re a sinner and you need Jesus to be your Savior. Put your faith in Jesus’s sacrificial death on the cross to pay the penalty for your sins and God will save you just as He has promised! It’s your faith that saves you, not your words.

If you believe Truth 5, then

ask Jesus to be the Lord and Savior of your life.

Truth 6

Once Saved You’re InThe Family of God.

When you get saved you are in the family of God. God becomes your heavenly father and all other believers become your brothers and sisters in Christ.

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26

God forgives all our sins (transgressions).

As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Psalms 103:12

All believers have God’s Holy Spirit living within them.

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ. Romans 8:16-17a

Being a child of God brings both privileges and responsibilities.

If you believe Truth 6, then

rejoice in your new relationship with God and all other believers.

Truth 7

Believers Should Live Lives That Honor God.

Once saved, we are to live for God.

Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Matthew 22:36-39

Glorify God in everything you do.

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31

Share your faith with others.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth. Romans 1:16a

If you believe Truth 7, then

seek to honor God in all that you do.
