And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; ¹⁶ And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: ¹⁷ For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? REVELATION 6:15-17

There is a terrible day of God’s wrath coming for them that are left on this earth when the rapture takes place. Men and women will cry for escape, but there will be no escape. God’s wrath or anger is against all who reject His ways, especially those who reject His way of salvation.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. ST JOHN 14:6

According to God’s Word, Jesus is the ONLY way to heaven, the ONLY truth of salvation and the ONLY life everlasting. To refuse Jesus is to say that you don’t need God and you are going to do things your way, and this angers God.

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. ST JOHN 3:36

God’s wrath is constantly on all unbelievers, who refuse to admit that Jesus died on the cross for their sins, was buried and rose again the third day for their salvation. But there is a specific day in which God’s wrath will come upon all rejectors of the good news of Jesus and no one will be able to stand against His wrath. The ONLY way to escape God’s wrath is to trust that God gave His Son Jesus to pay the price for your sins and take Him as your Saviour.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. ST JOHN 3:16

A choice has to be made to receive peace with God.

You must choose to trust Jesus. To not choose Him is to not believe, and unbelief is what condemns or damns us.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. ST JOHN 3:18

Choose Jesus today and receive eternal life, and then you will no longer have to face the wrath of God and an eternity in the lake of fire.

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. I JOHN 5:11
