In order to receive God’s forgiveness, fellowship and eternal life, you must repent. In St. Luke chapter 13 verse 3 Jesus said, “except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” Therefore, you must repent. You must come to God with a sorrowful mind and heart concerning God and sin, accompanied with a desire to turn away from a lifestyle of sin, the attitude and actions that offend a holy and righteous God.

You must believe that Jesus Christ was and is God, the Son, and that upon the cross every single sin you ever committed past, present and future was placed upon Him.

You must believe that upon the cross Jesus Christ took personally for you God’s wrath—the punishment and penalty due to you and your sins. I Peter chapter 2 verse 24 states that Jesus “bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”

You must believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried, and on the third day He rose from the dead. The very moment you come to God with true sorrow for your sinfulness, with a desire to turn from sin and place complete trust in the Person and work of Jesus Christ as God’s only way to Heaven, God will forgive all your sins, past present and future. You will have a personal relationship with Him and God will now hear and answer your prayers giving you the desires of your heart in accordance to His perfect plan and will for your life. Through the tribulations of life, all things will now be working together for good and upon death you will spend eternity in Heaven with the One who loved you and died for you, God your Savior.

1 John chapter 5 verse 13 states, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”
