My name is Sharon.

I was an only child. My mother was a stay-at-home mom. My father was a truck driver.

My grandparents, my dad’s parents, lived in a little house in Pennsylvania. They had 13 children and the 13th died of an illness. I was very close to my grandparents. My grandpa hated church and swore and yelled at the preacher every time he would try to get him to come to church. He was drunk most of the time.

Our next-door neighbors had six children. They were Christians. During the summer their mom would read Christian books outdoors to her children and me.

Their dad invited me to go with his kids to a church within walking distance. This was my first time going with them to church. The speaker that day was Jack Wertzen, an evangelist.

I asked Jesus to come into my heart and save me.

I became a born-again Christian that day.

My grandpa became sick and was hospitalized. He was diagnosed with cancer of the spleen and was sent home to die.

One day we received a phone call that my grandpa was worse, and Dad took me with him to see my grandpa. When I was there my uncles and grandmother were talking in the living room. I had to go to the bathroom, which was across from grandpa’s bedroom.

Grandpa was calling out in pain. He was restless and said he needed a drink. My father said he was too sick to drink. I stayed with my grandpa, and he kept calling out “It’s hot! Soooo hot! It’s dark. Help me! Help me!” He tossed and turned and kept calling out, “Fire! Fire! It’s on Fire!”

My father took me to the car to go home and suddenly my uncle came running out to tell us the sad news.

My grandpa died. Based on what I saw and heard I truly believe that, to my horror, my grandpa experienced the certainty of Hell. The horrible consequence of rejecting Jesus.

Jesus alone can save from Hell.

Those that reject Jesus are tormented with fire and brimstone forever and ever and ever and ever.

If you haven’t already, PLEASE accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and become a Christian today.
