Why do I need Life Assurance?

Every person is born a sinner. The Bible tells us this in Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Because of this sin we are condemned to death, Hell, and an eternity in the lake of fire. Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death;” Revelation 20:14-15, “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

How does that apply to me?

Most believe they are good enough to get to Heaven, but the Bible says in Romans 3:10, “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:” There are not enough good works to be done that would help us get closer to Heaven and escape Hell. The truth is that salvation is “not by works of righteousness which we have done…” according to Titus 3:5. It applies to us because we are all born sinners, not knowing or believing on Jesus Christ. John 3:18, “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Is there a way out?

Yes, there is! God cannot allow sin into Heaven, but He loves us so much HE was willing to pay the price! John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” He made salvation free to us so that everyone could have an opportunity to get it. And we only get it one way…faith. Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

I believe in God, and I pray, so am I saved?

To believe in something is not the same as believing on something; if that were the case Satan and his devils would be saved. James 2:19, “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.” To be saved, you must realize you cannot save yourself, and you must realize that Jesus Christ has done everything necessary for you to be saved.

Salvation is a free gift.

Remember when we read John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave,” Romans 5:8, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 6:23, “but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” The only way to get a free gift is to accept it when it is offered to you. You can accept the free gift of salvation by following these verses: Romans 10:9-13, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Call on Jesus Christ today, ask Him to save you, and believe His promise that He will!
