Eternity

Where will I go when I die? Heaven, Hell, Nowhere? Where? Reality? Fear? I don’t know ?

What does the Bible Say ?

Where will you be once your time on Earth is done? You will exist for eternity somewhere that is for sure. You may have your own ideas about eternity, but according to the Bible God will have the final word on your ETERNAL DESTINY.

HEAVEN and HELL are the ONLY REAL ETERNAL DESTINIES. You may argue with that truth from the Bible, but God who created all things will bring all things on this Earth to an end (Genesis 1-2; Revelation 21-22). In fact, someday this Earth will be completely GONE.

So, where will you be once you enter into ETERNITY? ETERNITY is forever! Hell is a fiery eternal horrible place of spiritual, mental and physical tormenting existence separated from God and every person! Heaven is an infinitely blissful place for ETERNITY in the presence of Holy God, His angels and the people who have truly trusted in Jesus Christ as Savior!

The reality is you have a choice. Your every thought, word and actions are recorded by God. It’s your decision. Maybe you’ve never thought about this truth, but I want to share with you how you can know for sure you can go to Heaven and not Hell when you die. Please, keep reading.

Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”

Romans 5:12 says, “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned.”

The Bible clearly teaches we are all sinners. Not only are we all sinners, but it says we all fall short of the glory of God. That means we keep on falling short of measuring up to the standard of God’s glorious splendor and all that He is. Some of the attributes of God we are unable to measure up to are holy, faithful, goodness and love. We are sinners and we certainly fall short of measuring up to God’s standard to gain entrance into Heaven.

Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

The wage or price of sin is death. This death is referring to spiritual death in Hell forever.  The physical death is evidence that man is a sinner and dead in sin.

This eternal spiritual death is in contrast to the eternal life offered to everyone by Jesus as a GIFT. The remedy of spiritual death is SIMPLY receiving the GIFT offered through Jesus.

Romans 5:8 says, “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

John 1:29 says, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”

John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

God clearly showed us how much He loves us! The Bible teaches that we are enemies of God, alienated from God, powerless before God and ungodly. He died for the unlovely. It’s mind boggling to think that He would freely go to the cruel and tormenting cross and die for all sinners.  John says to “Behold”. That means to think about it. Meditate on it. Let this thought sink in and accept it.

All the sins of the world (past sins, present sins and future sins) were laid upon Him. He was punished for our sins as a sacrifice before God. He paid our sin debt in full. We cannot partner with an eternal God to pay the infinite price for sin in order to secure Heaven for eternity. He made full payment for sin.

John 19:30 tells us Jesus final words on the cross, “It is finished.”

The payment for the sin debt of the world was paid in full by the only person who could satisfy that debt before a holy God, Jesus Christ. It’s your decision! Will you believe and trust on the Lord Jesus Christ for your Salvation from Hell unto Heaven? It’s a free gift!

Romans 10:9-13 says, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13. For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Are you willing to acknowledge to God you are a sinner deserving Hell? Do you understand that He’s the only person to satisfy the just payment for your sin by taking your sins upon Himself on the cruel cross? Then let’s tell Him in a simple prayer. It’s not the prayer that saves you from Hell. It’s belief in Him and what He has done for you that saves you. A prayer is a way to tell Him thank-you and let Him know you believe in Him and that you want to live for Him. You can pray this simple prayer meaning it with all your heart:

Lord, I know I’m a sinner deserving Hell. I now understand that you died on the cross and took on the punishment for my sins (past, present and future sins). I believe you and I trust you. Please, help me live my life for you.

If you now believe in Jesus Christ as your Savior you now have a relationship of peace with Him. You belong to Him. Here are more verses from the Bible for assurance of your Salvation and your new relationship with Him.

Romans 5:1 - Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:37-39 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I’d be delighted to connect with you! Whether you’re seeking to learn more about God, explore the Bible, or find a welcoming church or Bible study, I’m here to help. God has so much to reveal to you through His Word, The Bible.
