And there's a message to it too!

Message?

That's right! It's about God.

God?!?

See this GOLD on both ends. That means God is the Creator. He is eternal. He is timeless, the beginning and the end of everything.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

And the DARK part? That represents our sin ... all the bad stuff we do. It's black because we like to keep that hidden in the dark.

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

Ouch!

I don't like to think about that. What's the RED mean?

That means God's Son, Jesus, shed His blood for us by being nailed to a wooden cross and dying for our sins.

"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

Oh, that sounds harsh, man! What's the WHITE part then?

That's the GOOD part. Jesus rose from the dead to give us eternal life!

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9

When we confess our sins and place our trust in Jesus who rose from the grave ... then we can have a relationship with God for all eternity.

Wow! That sounds great!

Then while we are still here on earth, we will have a growing relationship with Him. That's the GREEN part. We will grow just like the grass and the trees.

"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen." 2 Peter 3:18

I want to KNOW God and GROW with Him!

Dear God, I believe you are my Creator and that you sent your Son to earth to die for my sins and rise from the grave to give me eternal life. I now place my trust in Jesus as my Savior. I thank you that I can grow in my relationship with you and I look forward to being with you in Heaven for all eternity.

I got a "KICK" out of sharing that with you.

Well, I had a "BALL" hearing it ... and placing my trust in Christ!
