Thank you for setting your problems aside and serving me with a smile that says, “I’m glad you’re here, how may I help you?”
I hope all is well with you and most importantly that you are saved and know you’re going to heaven someday.
The reason this is important to me is that I had a friend who passed away recently, and I don’t know what his spiritual condition was. I prayed for him and invited him to church but never really asked him if he knew Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. I didn’t want to destroy our friendship. I don’t know if he is in heaven or hell. It’s an awful feeling. So, today I want you to have the opportunity to trust Jesus Christ as your Savior and know you’re going to heaven when life here on earth is over. It is a choice we all have to make.
You are probably a good person, but our goodness doesn’t take us to heaven. It’s what Jesus Christ did on the cross of Calvary, paying our sin debt. Following are Bible verses that show us the only way to heaven. If you know and are saved, please pass this tract on to someone else. If not, I hope you will take these scriptures to heart and believe.
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:12 “They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.”
Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”
I Corinthians 15:1-4 “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”
Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
Romans 10:9-13 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
