“The wages of sin is death...”
We have all earned God’s death penalty because we disobey and dishonor God with our thoughts and actions.
“But the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23b).
God still loves us and purchased a gift for us of the highest value. His Son, Jesus, always perfectly obeyed God. Jesus suffered God’s death penalty in our place and He was declared guilty for all of our past, present, and future sins. Jesus then rose from the dead, counting his obedience as our very own and now rules as King to rescue us from sin and death. Will you take His gift or keep your guilt?
