It was a battle fought

On a much higher plain

Where Jesus would shed His blood

To take away sin’s stain

A holy, acceptable sacrifice

The lamb was slain

It was for freedom He fought

To bring Satan’s works to naught

God still waits patiently for the sinner to see

His mission accomplished on Calvary

Look to the Cross
