First and foremost, I would like to personally thank you for reading this tract. You could have easily thrown it away, but you graciously took the time to read it, and I’m so happy that you did.

The title of this tract is exactly what it means, “From Marine to Warrior for Christ.” But before we get into the “meat and potatoes” of the title, please allow me to properly introduce myself. My name is Scott Roulette Beebe, I was born in Fredericksburg, VA on July 9, 1980, and I’m the youngest of three siblings.

I was raised in Stafford County, VA. My dad was a fire fighter, and my mom worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). I was introduced to a conservative lifestyle as a child, but I had absolutely no religious upbringing. The only church experiences I had were an occasional Presbyterian church visit on Sunday or a candlelight service on Christmas Eve. I had no relationship with Jesus Christ and this world, sports, alcohol, drugs, women, the Marine Corps were my gods.

I began experimenting with drugs and alcohol throughout my high school years, and I believed the lie that I would never let this sort of behavior get out of hand. Well, it did! I joined the Marine Corps in January of 2000, and it wasn’t hard finding guys like me in the Corps. I lived as a drunk for years, and I got away with it until the end of my career. From 2014-16, the Marine Corps sent me to five different forms of treatment for alcoholism, and I was eventually forced to retire in 2016 because of my alcoholism. The Marine Corps took care of this Marine, but my sin was what I worshipped, and therefore, the consequences came.

Before my retirement, I was stationed aboard Marine Corps Air Facility Cherry Point, NC. After being a Drill Instructor at Parris Island, SC for three years, I felt this supernatural tug on my heart. This tug was from the Creator of not only you and I, but of the heavens and the earth, and everything else. Therefore, I decided to figure out what church was all about, and who Jesus Christ really is. Well, I didn’t realize I was in for the ride of my life without any seatbelt or security. On July 3, 2011, I personally asked Jesus Christ to come into my life as my Lord and Savior. After this special day, the Lord starting working on me and chipping away the poisons from my life—hence, the rehabilitation treatments, forced retirement, and broken relationships.

Philippians 1:6 states, “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” You see, I didn’t realize how much Jesus loves me, and wants the best for me. It was then that He started to mold me into the man He wanted me to be. It’s been painful, but I wouldn’t change it for anything.

The Bible says in John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” I believe that Satan’s most powerful weapon is false religion. Catholicism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Mormonism, Islam, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Christian Science, Judaism, etc., were created by the devil to deceive people. Only trusting in Jesus Christ and what He did upon the cross saves one’s soul from an eternal hell.

Jesus Christ preached more about hell than He did heaven, and He mentions the place more than anyone else in the Scriptures. Since the day that I gave my life to Jesus Christ, He’s allowed me to experience supernatural experiences. I don’t really share those experiences with anyone because of the fear that they won’t believe or will label them as a hallucination. Believe me, they’re NOT hallucinations! Heaven and hell are real places, and they’re FOREVER! No man can fathom the evil/tortures in hell, and they never stop. That’s why Jesus Christ went upon the cross, to give humans a chance to be saved from the horrors of hell created for Satan and his angels (Matthew 25:41).

I created this tract with the motivation founded on what the Lord Jesus Christ would have me to do. If you don’t know Jesus Christ, the ONLY One who can forgive you of your sins (past, present, future), as your personal Savior and accept His free offer of eternal salvation, then you’re lost and heading to hell. You don’t have to be!

The Lord Jesus Christ has not only saved me, but He’s given me a whole new life. Because of Jesus, I have a beautiful and effective church home. I’ve been involved in a nursing home ministry, various prison ministries, as well as involvement in Alcoholics Anonymous. He has given me the grace to get through this life and its challenges.

Life isn’t always easy, but with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, life has been more abundant and easier to understand. This world has been broken by sin (Genesis 3) and we’ve received the repercussions of it. Death is a part of the curse, and only Jesus Christ can save you from it.

If you haven’t called on Jesus, I HIGHLY, HIGHLY encourage you to do so. First, you must have a believing heart and mind. The Bible says in Romans 10:9, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” You can call out to Him through prayer, and you can say something like this:

“Lord, I know that I’ve messed up in this life by my actions, thoughts and words. I am a sinner. I believe in You Jesus, and I believe you went to the cross to die for my sins. Lord, would you please forgive me and come into my life as my Lord and Savior? Forgive me of my sins, and please save me from hell. I place all my trust in You Jesus, Amen.”

Thank you for reading my personal testimony, and it’s my prayer that it impacted you. Please trust in Jesus Christ NOW. It’s the most important decision every one will make.

Many Blessings,
Scott Beebe
