What is truth? Does it really matter what a person believes? There are those who claim that nothing is absolute. I ask, “Are you absolutely sure?” Who am I? Where do I come from? What is my purpose in life? What happens after I die? There are many speculations regarding these questions; but, if we are honest with ourselves, we would want to know for certain. The only place that can answer all the questions to life is the Word of God which is the Holy Bible. God is real. If there is no God, who is the one ultimately to decide right from wrong? God desires for all of us to have a right relationship with Him by grace, through faith alone, in His Son Jesus Christ. Some may deny that there is a God, and when they die, an annihilation would occur. Others believe in many gods and even say that there are many ways to God; and when they die, reincarnation would occur. Well, apparently we all have a choice—however, there is such thing as an absolute truth. All roads may lead to the White House, but definitely not to God or a place called Heaven, where He has established His throne. When it comes to the things of God, there is no such thing as a gray area! One may deny the existence of God; ironically, by denying the truth, the facts still remain. You may say, “I do not believe in gravity,” but, if you jump off a 30-story building, you will not see tomorrow.

The evidences that God does exist are overwhelming. The whole creation screams out to God. If there is a creation there must be a Creator, if there is a design there must be a designer, if there is a building there must be a builder, and if there is a painting there must be a painter, etc. Think of these: the uniformity of the universe, DNA (Deoxyribonucleic Acid), cells, atoms, heart, eyes, brain, emotions, conscience, knowledge, information, and all the intricacies of life. It is impossible for all of these things to come together by chance. Nothing ever created itself—God is the One who created all of these things. He is eternal. He always existed and always will be throughout eternity. He is far beyond anything we can comprehend. “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out!” (Romans 11:33). “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth His handywork” (Psalm 19:1). “Ah LORD GOD! Behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee” (Jeremiah 32:17). “For with God nothing shall be impossible” (Luke 1:37).

Every nation, language, and tongue believes in God or a god. Whether or not they believe in the one true God—the truth of the matter—is another story. Dear friend, what category are you in: Relativism, Atheism, Rationalism, Agnosticism, Humanism, Mysticism or some other form of religion? It is not religion but a relationship with the Almighty God through His Son Jesus Christ that will get you to Heaven. “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” (Proverbs 14:12). God says His Word is truth in Ephesians 1:13, “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the Word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise.” Jesus Christ (God the Son) said in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” He said He is the truth not a truth; and the only way that we can go to God the Father in Heaven is only through Him. Is He a liar? According to the Bible He rose from the dead, performed many miracles, and changed the course of history like no other. His message is primarily about love and forgiveness which the world desperately needs. Please let God save you this very moment before it is too late.

“For He saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2). “In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began” (Titus 1:2). “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering [patient] to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9). “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Matthew 16:26). “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

In order to be saved from sin, death, and Hell,
here are things you must consider:

First, realize that you have offended a holy, righteous God with your filthiness and sins, and there is nothing that you can do to save yourself—no church membership, no giving alms, and no good deeds, etc. According to the Bible, if you die without Christ, you will have to pay for your sins in a place called Hell—forever. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23). “The wicked shall be turned into Hell, and all the nations that forget God” (Psalm 9:17).

Secondly, realize that God sent His Son Jesus Christ (the perfect Lamb of God) to die in your place on the cruel cross. He was buried, rose again the third day and now is alive forevermore. “And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:4). “But God commendeth [demonstrates] His love toward us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). “And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission [pardon]” (Hebrews 9:22).

Thirdly, you must put your faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ for the salvation (deliverance from destruction) of your soul. The Bible declares, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord [Jesus] shall be saved” (Romans 10:13). “But as many as received Him [Jesus], to them gave he power (authority) to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name” (John 1:12). “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God [Jesus]” (1 John 5:13).

Here is a simple prayer if you want to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour. Romans 10:9 states “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Pray something like this and mean it from your heart:

Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and that, according to the Bible, if I die right now I will spend eternity in Hell. Please forgive me of all of my sins: past, present and future. I now accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal Saviour to take me to Heaven when I die. I believe He shed His precious blood for the atonement of my sins, was buried, rose again the third day and is now in Heaven. Thank you for saving me and for giving me eternal life. In Jesus name, Amen…
