Some think you'll be flying through the clouds with a harp, halo, and angel wings.

"Watch this! A 360 with a double twist."

"Cool!"

Others believe they will return to earth in some other form.

"Yuck! I never did like vegetables."

And others imagine you'll continue to hang around as an invisible spirit.

"Funny, I thought they'd miss me more than this."

And sadly, some believe there will be nothing at all after death.

"This is borrrrring!"

"I wonder what's after life?"

"Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment." Hebrews 9:27

"I am the accuser and I am here to tell you why this man belongs in Hell."

"He is an awful sinner, as evidenced by this great volume documenting every wrong act he has committed."

"Yikes!"

"Shall I show you?"

"From the very beginning when you were a toddler, you disobeyed your mother and wouldn't eat your peas."

"That's no big deal."

"... but more importantly, you didn't love God with all your heart, and you didn't obey all of God's commands."

"You mean He's asking me to be perfect?"

"For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it." James 2:10

"Yes! The great Judge here has set the standard for acceptance into Heaven ... perfection!"

"Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect." Matthew 5:48

"Your honor, this flawed imperfect man obviously has no right to know you and deserves to be sentenced to Hell for all eternity."

"They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might." 2 Thessalonians 1:9

"Do you have anything to say in your defense?"

"I ... I ..."

"I would like to speak on behalf of the accused."

"Go ahead, My Son."

"Jesus?"

"Father, through My death and resurrection on earth I became a sin offering on this man's behalf so he could stand righteous before You."

"God made him [Jesus] who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." 2 Corinthians 5:21

"I ... I am unworthy of that, Jesus"

"That's right! He's not perfect!"

"Yes, but I am, and so is the sacrifice I made."

"By one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy." Hebrews 10:14

"Whoever believes in him [Jesus] is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son." John 3:18

"All that is needed is to know that this man has placed his trust in Me during his life to save him from eternal death at this hour."

"Yikes!"

"Wow! What a frightening dream!"

What will you do when this happens to you?

The Bible is clear! we will each stand before God and face judgement when our life on this earth is through.

"Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him." Hebrews 9:27-28

"What happens next depends on where we have placed our trust.

"Hmmm ..."

"I need to place my trust in Christ before it is too late."

"Dear Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross to pay for my sins. I now place my trust in you as my Lord to save me from Hell and give me eternal life in Heaven. Amen."
