Isn’t it amazing how we say “It’s hot as hell” when we have not literally been to hell. If we can make such a bold statement about a place we have never been, can you imagine how much worse it might be if you ended up being there? On the contrary, isn’t it shocking that we hardly use heaven in our statements??

Remeber that hell was not created for mankind; hell was created for the devil and the fallen angels. Heaven was created for you and God wants you in heaven, but the devil’s plan is to make sure that you don’t make it there. He uses all sorts of gimmicks such as pride, sexual immorality, lying, stealing, greed, hatred, murder, envy, and lack of self control to block you from enjoying heavenly bliss.

All his gimmicks are under the umbrella called sin. The devil wants you and I to live a perpetual life of sin and to miss out on the heavenly bliss set out for us by God. The end result of sin is death, which is not only physical death, but also eternal separation from God.

“The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23).

The final destination of a person that dies in sin is hell—and we are all destined for hell because we are all sinners.

“All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).

But God has provided a way out for us through His beloved son Jesus Christ.

“God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

Some say they don’t believe in heaven or hell—to them I will say you don’t want to die and then realize heaven and hell are real. Why don’t you just take the opportunity today and give your life to Jesus? God loves you and He cares about where you are going to spend your eternity. Why don’t you renounce sin and stop rejecting God’s love for you? You can a reset button by talking with God like this:

“God, I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus died for my sins, and that You raised Jesus from the dead. I ask that You will forgive me of all my sins. I surrender my heart and life to You. I want You to be my Savior and Lord. Thank You for accepting me as Your child. By putting my trust in Jeus Christ, your Word says I am born again and I believe heaven is my home. Amen.”

If you have put your trust in Jesus Christ, congratulations and  welcome to God’s family. To grow your faith, kindly join a Bible-believing church, pray, and read God’s Word daily.
