Do You Think That YOU Can Keep Any of God’s Laws?
Exodus 20:3-17
1. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image.
3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.
4. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
5. Honour thy father and thy mother.
6. Thou shalt not kill.
7. Thou shalt not commit adultery.
8. Thou shalt not steal.
9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
10. Thou shalt not covet.
The Question: Can YOU keep the law?
“For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all” (James 2:10).
No, none of us can keep the law. For if we break just one of God’s laws, we are guilty of ALL!
“All have sinned” (Romans 5:12b).
If we can’t keep the law, what is the answer?
There is only one real answer, and that is in the person of Jesus Christ. The One who knew no sin, but became sin for us. John 14:6 says “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man [person] cometh unto the Father, but by Me.”
Even though we can’t keep the law, we can be forgiven for our sins by calling on the name of Jesus Christ. He will forgive when you ask Him to be your personal Savior. Call on Him Today! (Romans 10:9-13)
