Hi, my name is Tim Madden. My wife Wanda and I run a school for people who are at a Crossroads in their lives. Every January in Hawaii we oversee a 3-month classroom course that is followed by 2 months of travel to different parts of the world. Our students come from all over the world so it’s a very rich time of sharing ideas.
Perhaps you’ve read the moving poem by Robert Frost that says:
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
…..I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
Most people are too busy to spend time thinking about the meaning of life. Thoughts like, “Why am I alive?” or “What is my purpose in life?” usually are set aside for the activities of everyday life.
We LOVE hanging out with people all over the world and hearing their stories. What do they think about life? How did they get where they are? Where are they going? What are their hopes and dreams?
Many of them are at a Crossroads and we can help them think about life in a different way. I know many times I’ve felt like I’m “boxed in” and can’t figure out what to do. Other times I’ve been at a point of decision and unsure which way to go.
That’s when I need to take the time to REALLY think about the meaning of life. For me, that means talking to a trusted friend.
I’d be delighted to chat with you.
This isn’t about coming to our school.
It’s about what is eternally important.
It’s about taking that path that will make all the difference.
