Do you lay awake at night with a heavy and anxious heart? You’re not alone.
Each day can bring new reasons for us to be stressed, but Jesus offers us true rest. He said, “In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
Jesus bore the weight of our sin when He died on the cross. He then rose from the dead to offer forgiveness, peace, and eternal joy to all who will come to Him in repentance and faith. When we trust Jesus for salvation and follow Him each day, His personal promise to us is: “ye shall find rest unto your souls” (Matthew 11:29).
