Does that mean if you sincerely believe your car will run on chocolate milk, I can fill the tank with this and we’ll still get to work on time?

Say. What are you driving at?
Just as the factory that built your car gave you an owner’s manual to tell you how to make it run, our creator gave us an “owner’s manual” for our lives- the Holy Bible- that tells us how to get to heaven.
So what does your “owner’s manual” say? Drink your milk every day and you will go to Heaven?
No, much better than that. The Bible tells us how to have “living water.
He that believeth on me [Jesus], as the Scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. John 7:38
That means that the true way to eternal life is by placing our faith in Jesus Christ.
But don’t all “owner’s manuals” basically say the same thing?
No, the Holy Bible is the only “owner’s manual” that points to the need for a savior, Jesus Christ. You see, we are all guilty of sinning from birth.
All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
God knows this and loves us anyway. It was out of this love He sent His son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins, and then He rose from the grave to give us eternal life.
But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
Does it have to be Jesus? That seems so exclusive. Is there another way?
No, according to this “owner’s manual,” Jesus is the only way.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me. John 14:6
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5
Okay, so what do I do?
Just as you trust that gasoline is the only fuel that will make your car run, so you need to place your trust in Jesus as the only way to get to Heaven.
As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name. John 1:12
Dear God, thank you for sending Your Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for my sins and rise from the dead to give me eternal life. I now place my trust in Him to be my Savior and Lord for all eternity. Amen.
Yes! Jesus truly is the only way.
