We are living in a time when physicians are allowed by law to purposely put to death innocent children by the millions.
This ideology is propagated by those who seek to control the world’s population, exalt man without God, and cry “my body my choice.” This thinking is unbiblical and not in the ways of God. (Exodus 20:13; Romans 13:8; Jude 10)
This tract flyer is to warn any who may be contemplating having this procedure. There are many reasonings, and we will examine some of them later.
Abortion is defined by Webster to be an expulsion of a fetus (infant - baby) from the womb before it is sufficiently developed to survive. There are four methods by which this procedure is accomplished. Some of these procedures may not be in use today, and other techniques are applied. Yet we can safely say these procedures have been used to murder millions of children in the womb.
The Suction Method: used for the early stages of a pregnancy. By this method a hollow tube is inserted into the mother’s uterus, and the powerful vacuum suction savagely rips the infant from the womb.
The Dilation and Curettage (D & C) Method: this procedure is accomplished with a sharp, spooned, shaped instrument and literally cuts the living baby into pieces and scrapes out the remaining tissue.
The Saline Injection or Salt Brine Technique. (Cut or Burn): By this method a large needle injects a strong salt solution into the amniotic sac. The infant is poisoned to death and the mother delivers a stillbirth.
The Hysterotomy Method: Likened unto a cesarean. The infant child is delivered through the abdomen. Many are alive, gasping for air, then set aside to suffer alone and die.
God does not turn a blind eye to these awful evils and injustices to innocent life.
Those who promote abortions try to justify them by many diabolical reasonings such as:
It is alright to have an abortion; for it is not really a person or human being in your belly, it is only a fetus. God’s Word says otherwise. (Example: Jeremiah 1:5)
It is alright to abort this thing, for you were molested and raped. Really? To allow the killing of your child? (Exodus 20:13) There are couples who greatly desire to foster and care for a baby.
It is alright to have an abortion, because you have the right to choose, it’s your body. Yet you chose to have the relationship, bear the consequences and take responsibility. (Romans 6:16)
It is alright to have an abortion; besides, you’re too young to care for the child. There are many around which would gladly take and care for the child. (Luke 10:30-37)
It is alright to have an abortion; besides, the mother and father have certain diseases and the child will be born with certain defects. God values every life. Having defects makes them no less valuable. (Job 31:15; Jeremiah 1:5; Psalm 139)
It is alright to have an abortion; besides, we must keep the population down. This is dangerous, globalist ideology. (John 8:23)
It is alright to have an abortion. Besides, the mother’s life is in danger. The emphasis should be on doing all that is possible to save both. (Exodus 20:13)
These reasonings come from emotional and unstable thinking. We must not rely on or trust in the wisdom of man. God’s Word is the final authority to answer all of man’s reasonings and to refute the devil’s lies.
God teaches us that life comes from Him.
God is the One who controls the giving of life and breath:
“The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.” Job 33:4
“And when the Lord saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb: but Rachel was barren.” Genesis 29:31
“So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the Lord gave her conception, and she bare a son.” Ruth 4:13
(Also: Genesis 30:2, 22)
It has been discovered that at the moment of conception of a child there is a great flash of light. Isn’t that amazing!
Therefore, friend, it is the Lord God Almighty who gives and controls the power of life and gives it to whom He will. One must not do away with that precious life entrusted to them.
God’s Word declares that life is in the very womb of the mother, and not some blob of flesh called a fetus.
Job declares, “Did not he that made me in the womb make him? and did not one fashion us in the womb?” Job 31:15
David says, “For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.” Psalm 139:13-16
Each intricate part of David was planned and recorded before conception; then in the mother’s womb David’s physical embodiment was formed. It is the same for all.
The prophets Isaiah and Jeremiah were called and formed by God in the womb:
“Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The Lord hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. And now, saith the Lord that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the Lord, and my God shall be my strength.” Isaiah 49:1,5
“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5
To have an abortion at three months, six months, or at any time would have killed the prophets Isaiah and Jeremiah! How many men and women of God has America killed? At the time of this writing, well over sixty million innocent children have been murdered since abortion was legalized in 1973. How many more will suffer?
John the Baptist leaped in his mother’s womb:
“For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.” Luke 1:44
Notice it says, “the babe” not a fetus. “Fetus” is just a technical term meaning life in the womb. “Babe” means an infant or young child. God calls life in a womb a real live human being. To abort them is nothing less than murder.
Friend, I have read and heard where those who have performed or participated in an abortion have had nightmares, depression, and some even have had personality changes. Women after an abortion have suffered sterilization, menstrual problems, abnormal pain, dizziness, headaches, and have a 400 percent increase of danger of tubal pregnancies. Percentages show a woman is more likely to die from an abortion rather than from childbearing.
If you or someone you know is contemplating an abortion: fear God; believe the good news of the gospel, how Christ Jesus died for our sins and rose again (1 Corinthians 15:1-4); seek a Bible-believing church; and please do not murder your child!
“Thou shalt not kill.” Exodus 20:13
Many have in great distress, anguish, and under enormous pressure allowed this terrible act to happen to them. Looking to our blessed Saviour Jesus Christ is the only way of forgiveness, salvation, peace, and comfort.
“…Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Acts 16:30-31
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
