WHY ALL THE HYPE?

“If you found out we weren’t alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you?” That’s the promotional tagline for Stephen Spielberg’s 2026 blockbuster film Disclosure Day. Yet fiction suddenly feels close to reality. UFOs and UAPs have exploded into mainstream conversation. What was once dismissed as conspiracy theory is now discussed by government officials, military pilots, news outlets, and millions online as the Trump administration’s 2026 UAP disclosure initiative pushed the topic even further into the spotlight. Even former president Barack Obama was asked, “Are aliens real.” His answer: “they’re real, but I haven’t seen them.” Laura Trump has said President Trump has a prepared speech for the “right time.” People everywhere are asking the same question: What exactly is going on?

WHAT ARE THESE BEINGS?

U.S. Representative Anna Paulina Luna claims she has seen classified evidence suggesting the existence of “interdimensional beings.” Not extraterrestrials from distant planets — but entities operating outside our normal understanding of space and time. Interestingly, the Bible has described a spiritual realm like this for thousands of years — populated by both holy and evil beings. Vice President JD Vance put it bluntly: “I don’t think they’re aliens, I think they’re demons.” The Bible warns that “Satan disguises himself as an angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:14, NIV). It also says ancient idol worship was often inspired by demonic deception. Deuteronomy 32:17 (NLT) says: “They offered sacrifices to demons, which are not God.” So the question is worth asking: could some modern encounters fit into that same pattern? While we should avoid wild speculation, many reported experiences sound far more spiritual than scientific.

ALIEN ABDUCTIONS … OR SOMETHING ELSE?

Many alleged alien abduction accounts include: overwhelming fear, paralysis, shadowy figures, telepathic communication, nighttime encounters, and a feeling of helplessness. Check out this eyewitness description: “This truth was given to me in secret, as though whispered in my ear. It came to me in a disturbing vision at night, when people are in a deep sleep. Fear gripped me, and my bones trembled. A spirit swept past my face, and my hair stood on end. The spirit stopped, but I couldn’t see its shape. There was a form before my eyes.” That was not written in a modern UFO book. It comes from Job 4:12-16 (NLT) in the Bible thousands of years ago. The Bible contains numerous accounts of spiritual encounters that resemble what people today describe as “alien” experiences. Even more striking: many former abductees claim their experiences stopped when they called on the name of Jesus Christ. In Luke 10:17 (NLT), the disciples told Jesus: “Lord, even the demons obey us when we use your name!” If these beings were simply advanced extraterrestrials, why would the name of Jesus have power over them?

THE COMING DECEPTION

The Bible warns that in the last days, humanity will face massive spiritual deception. 2 Thessalonians 2:10-11 (NLT) says the coming antichrist “will use every kind of evil deception to fool those on their way to destruction, because they refuse to love and accept the truth that would save them. 11 So God will cause them to be greatly deceived, and they will believe these lies.” And today’s world is primed for deception: A.I. can fabricate reality, deepfakes blur truth and fiction, biblical authority is widely rejected, and people crave spirituality without repentance or submission to God. New Age authors have long predicted that “spirit guides” will remove millions of people from the earth in a single moment — a counterfeit explanation for the biblical rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:13–18). If Jesus suddenly takes His followers home, the world will demand an explanation. And the “spiritual forces of evil” (Ephesians 6:12, NIV) may already be preparing one. Meanwhile, New Age teachings promote ideas directly opposed to Christianity: humanity evolving into godhood, Jesus as merely an enlightened teacher, all religions leading to the same truth, and salvation through inner awakening. It’s a counterfeit gospel — and it will sound convincing to a world that has already rejected Jesus. Humanity is looking for a savior from the stars… not realizing the Savior has already come.

THE SAVIOR HAS ALREADY COME

Scripture warns that deceptive spiritual beings will spread false revelation. 1 Timothy 4:1 (NLT) says: “Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons.” Galatians 1:8 (NIV) says: “But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse!” The truth is simple: Acts 4:12 (GW) - “No one else can save us. Indeed, we can be saved only by the power of the one named Jesus and not by any other person.” The greatest threat to humanity is not alien life — it is human sin. Romans 3:23 (NIV) says: “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Sin separates us from God and brings judgment. But God loves us. Romans 5:8 (NIV) says: “While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Jesus took the punishment we deserve so we could be forgiven.

WHAT MUST YOU DO?

Salvation cannot be earned through good works, rituals, or self-improvement. Ephesians 2:8-9 (NIV) says: “It is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works.” You cannot save yourself. You must trust in Jesus Christ alone. Romans 10:9 (NIV) says: “If you declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” One day every mystery will be revealed. But the most important question is not: “Are we alone?” The real question is: “Are you reconciled to God?” Don’t be deceived by counterfeit messages or false saviors. The Savior humanity is searching for has already come. His name is Jesus Christ.
