What Are Gospel Tracts & Why Should I Use Them?
Living Seed
What are gospel tracts?
Gospel tracts contain the Word of God, and are like living seed. When planted in a person’s heart, God can use that seed to create new life—eternal life.
Any believer can overcome the fear of sharing their faith by using Gospel Tracts, because these resources clearly, concisely, and effectively tell of man’s sin and God’s salvation.
“Born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever” - 1 Peter 1:23
God’s Command
Evangelism is not our choice, it’s God’s command
“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” - Mark 16:15
You’ve read God’s command in the Bible to evangelize. You’ve heard the preacher or teacher plead with you to share the Gospel. Perhaps you’ve felt convicted to share the Good News, but you can’t get past your fear. You feel like no matter how much you prepare or how may verses you memorize, you won’t know all the answers.
Don’t let the fear of failure hold you back from obeying God. Regardless of every excuse that we can make, God commanded us to proclaim the Gospel and He is worthy to be obeyed.
We may never know all of the answers, but we must be obedient. The only thing God cannot use is our silence. And remember, a person’s eternity in either Heaven or in Hell is at stake here.
Finding Your Voice
Sharing God’s message doesn’t have to be hard
Today’s world is a world of “anything goes”, but God’s voice can still be heard. That voice speaks to man’s rebellious heart, showing him he is a sinner in need of a Savior. This is where Gospel tracts can play a powerful role. A single tract can be used by the Lord as a voice of testimony to His Word, convicting of sin, and drawing a soul to the Savior.
Christians of all ages have started consistently sharing their faith by using Gospel tracts. With tract evangelism, people no longer struggle with how to start a spiritual conversation and they no longer feel the pressure of needing to say all of the right words.
“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” - Isaiah 6:8
Seeing Fruit
How is God using tracts today?
“So shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” - Isaiah 55:11
We know that tracts aren’t the only way to share your faith, but these silent witnesses are an excellent tool for telling others about Jesus.
