The Resurrection of Christ

Posted by Don Johnson on

Message Overview

The death of the Lord Jesus paid the debt for our sin. The resurrection is the receipt that the debt is paid.

But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. (1 Corinthians 15:20)

Scripture References KJV NKJV

Philippians 2:8-10 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
