FOUR THINGS GOD WANTS YOU TO KNOW

1. You need to be saved from sin’s penalty.

We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way. (Isaiah 53:6)

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

The wages of sin is death. (Romans 6:23)

People are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment. (Hebrews 9:27)

2. You cannot save yourself.

No one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again. (John 3:3)

He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. (Titus 3:5)

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)

3. Jesus has provided for your salvation.

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. (1 Peter 3:18)

God made Him [Jesus] who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. (2 Corinthians 5:21)

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

4. You can be saved today.

Whoever hears My word and believes … has crossed over from death to life. (John 5:24)

Now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation. (2 Corinthians 6:2)

Seek the Lord while He may be found; call on Him while He is near. (Isaiah 55:6)
