FOUR THINGS GOD WANTS YOU TO KNOW

1. You need to be saved from sin’s penalty.

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way. (Isaiah 53:6)

For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

The wages of sin is death. (Romans 6:23)

It is appointed for men to die once, and after this the judgment. (Hebrews 9:27)

2. You cannot save yourself.

Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John 3:3)

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us. (Titus 3:5)

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

3. Jesus has provided for your salvation.

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God. (1 Peter 3:18)

For He [God] made Him [Jesus] who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. (2 Corinthians 5:21)

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

4. You can be saved today.

He who hears My word and believes … has passed from death into life. (John 5:24)

Behold, now is the … time; behold, now is the day of salvation. (2 Corinthians 6:2)

Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. (Isaiah 55:6)
