Unless you’ve done it, it’s hard to describe the thrill of sliding sideways into a corner at over 100 mph only inches away from other riders. It is exciting, but the truth is, it’s very dangerous. In just over a 5 year period, flat track racing has claimed the lives of 24 racers. From youth and amateur to the grand national level, no rider is exempt to the dangers of the high speeds. But the truth is, you are safer on the race track as a believer in Jesus Christ, than you are sitting in the grandstands watching the race as a non-believer.
The length of your life is unpredictable; no one knows the day or hour you will die. The next time you climb on your bike for a race or just a relaxing street ride, could be your final ride.
God says: “Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.” (Proverbs 27:1)
Are you satisfied with where you stand with God? The truth is that everyone has sinned, so you are already lost and separated from God and headed toward Hell.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
“He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:18)
Many are trying to do something to get into Heaven. They don’t realize it’s not about what you do, but what Jesus Christ did for you.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith … not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8,9)
Even right now, you could surrender your life to the Lord, and be saved by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
By accepting Christ as your Savior, God’s word will become very clear and understandable.
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Many people cannot believe that salvation is so easy, and that it is free. Tell Jesus in your own words that you are sorry for your sins and that you no longer want to be spiritually separated from God. Ask Jesus to forgive you and save you from death and eternal punishment. Tell Him you are willing to receive Him as your Lord and Savior, and that you want to accept His gift of eternal life.
I want to thank you for taking the time to read this, and then passing it on to someone else. God will bless you!
