Are You Prepared to Die?

Thousands of people die each hour. Your hour is coming, Will you be prepared?

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” Hebrews 9:27

“The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.” Psalm 9:17

Your body will die because of sin.

“Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” James 1:15

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23

But your soul is eternal.

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” Mark 8:36

“And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew 10:28

And everlasting punishment awaits sinners that are not prepared to stand before God.

“And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:14-15

“But the fearful, and unbelieving…and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Revelation 21:8

“And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” Matthew 25:46

The Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16), came into the world to save sinners.

“…I declare unto you the gospel… how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” 1 Corinthians 15:1, 3-4

“I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.” Revelation 1:18

God is offering you complete forgiveness of sins and eternal life through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

“In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;” Ephesians 1:7

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23

No amount of good works or religious activities (baptism, tithing, etc.) will help save you.

“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us…” Titus 3:5

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

At this moment, will you trust only in Jesus Christ for the salvation of your soul?

“… Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Acts 16:30-31

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” John 6:47

“…prepare to meet thy God…” Amos 4:12

What is Your Decision? 

I choose to RECEIVE the Lord Jesus Christ as my Saviour. 

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” John 1:12

“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.” Ephesians 1:13-14

I choose to REJECT the Lord Jesus Christ and pay for my own sin.

“…he that believeth not shall be damned.” Mark 16:16

“In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:” 2 Thessalonians 1:8

If you have decided to trust Jesus Christ as your Saviour:

• REST in the eternal security of God’s salvation. (Eph. 1:13, 1 John 5:13)

• READ the King James Bible. Beware of bible perversions. (Psalm 12:6-7)

• PRAY and fellowship with God daily. (Phil. 4:6, 1 Thess. 5:17)

• ASSEMBLE with bible believing Christians. (Heb. 10:25)

•FOLLOW the Lord in baptism. (Matt. 28:19)

•PREACH the gospel to others that they might be saved. (Mark 16:15)
