No one ever has or ever will love you as much as God loves you. If only you could understand how wide and long and high and deep God’s love is for you and how His mighty love could transform you if you would respond to Him!

God has watched the little ship of your soul as it has been tossed and beaten upon by the waves of life. He knows every thought you have ever had, every emotion you have ever felt, every physical pain you have experienced, every deed you have done, every word you have spoken, every tear you have shed; and He longs to comfort you and to give you hope and peace.

You have been searching this world for something or someone to satisfy your soul. The needs of the human heart are limitless and insatiable. They are so wide and long and high and deep that only the eternal, almighty, infinite God can satisfy them. The wounds and sorrows of the heart are so deep and painful that only a loving God can heal them.

Since before Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, it has been God’s desire to fellowship with mankind, to walk and talk with us, and to meet our every need. But our sin has separated us from Him, and until our sin is dealt with, we cannot have the relationship with God that we were designed to have. We are helpless in our sin. God knows that we cannot help but sin; it is our nature. Apart from God’s grace, we would run heedlessly into sin. He saw us in our hopeless condition and had pity on us. But what could He do? God is Holy and Holiness demands that sin be punished. A righteous judge does not let a criminal get away with his crimes.

Yet, because of His great love for us, God the Father gave His most precious treasure, His only Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the penalty for our sin. God the Son willingly entered our world for the expressed purpose of dying on a cross to become sin for us and to bear the wrath of God against our sins. The riches of Heaven were poured out upon mankind when God the Father and God the Son gave all that Heaven could give to show how much God loves us.

When God’s Spirit quickens your dead heart to respond to God’s love, God will perform the miracle of all miracles in your heart. You who are dead in your trespasses and sins will be made alive in Christ. Will you not fall on your face before God and tell Him you are a poor and needy sinner in need of the precious Savior? God has promised that “him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out” (John 6:37).

“For God so loved the world [you], that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23). “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13).
