Have you ever been challenged to do something that seemed way beyond your ability? I believe that we’ve been created to do things so great that without God’s help, they would be impossible to accomplish. Someone once said to “dream so big that whenever it’s accomplished, you can’t take any credit for it … only God.”

That’s why the one verse driving this vision is found in Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

So, what is this all about?

“C2C4?” stands for “Coast To Coast For Jesus.” The number “2” stands for the “two of us” that will be biking Coast to Coast and taking the Gospel with us! The “4” represents the four-fold purpose of the vision:

Take the Gospel from Coast to Coast
(Matthew 28:19)

Build an Orphanage Overseas (James 1:27)

Dig Fresh Water Wells (John 7:38)

Build Family Life Worship Center Debt Free (Proverbs 22:7)

You can financially support “C2C4?” with either a one-time gift or by sponsoring the ride (per mile). The total trip will cover approximately 3,178 miles from Los Angeles, California to St. Augustine, Florida.

There will be a seven-month time period from September 25th to April 25th to help raise support for the journey. On this date in April, our congregation in Central PA (Family Life) will celebrate our 10 year anniversary. We will begin our journey in LA following a worship service on Sunday, April 27th. We estimate the trip to take between 5-6 weeks. We appreciate your prayers for the journey.

“Where will your journey end?”

On this bike trip, we will end in St. Augustine, FL. But one day, you and I will end our journey here on earth and begin another one at the doorstep of eternity. The question we must all answer is, “where will that be?”

Jesus said in John 14:2, “In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.”

A few verses later, Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6).

If your journey on earth were to end today, where would you spend eternity? The Bible makes it clear that there are only two choices: heaven or hell. If you are not sure that heaven would be your final stop, why not take a moment right now and make sure.

Here’s how:

Admit that you are a sinner and pray to Christ for forgiveness.

Believe in your heart that Jesus died for your sins and rose to life to conquer death and give you the gift of eternal life.

Confess Jesus with your mouth through prayer and begin sharing with others that you are a believer and follower of Jesus Christ.

If you’re ready to put your trust in Jesus Christ, here is a simple prayer to help you express your faith and begin your journey:

“Lord Jesus, I realize that I’m a sinner and need to be forgiven. I want to thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. Forgive me of my sins, cleanse me, and help me to live for you everyday. At this moment, I accept You into my life as my Savior and Lord. Help me every day to love and serve you with all my heart. Jesus, thank you for dying for me so that I can live with you forever! In Jesus’ Name, amen.”

These next steps are very important: find a good congregation to worship with, begin reading/obeying your Bible every day, and enjoy the journey!
