Larry's Testimony

For 20 years, Larry Key, of North Carolina, ministered to incarcerated youth. For twelve of those years, he also ministered to people on the street. Today, he is three years into full-time street evangelism in North Carolina through an outreach named Crossing the Streets Ministry. The ministry focuses on homeless, runaways, and troubled youth on the nation’s streets. When once he preached to youth in prison, he said one of his main goals now is to reach them before they end up there. Key leads teams of volunteers, armed with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, onto the streets, homeless encampments, and other areas. While many outreaches focus on feeding the homeless, Key said they often miss the opportunity to meet their even greater, deeper…and eternal…need for Jesus Christ. “If they go to hell with a full belly or an empty one, we’ve missed the important part,” he said. 🏈 Whether it’s sports, or life, rulebooks and penalties are there to keep us within the right boundaries. They also remind us that we fall short of a perfect performance every time. 🏀 When it comes to falling short of God’s rules, the penalty is death and ejection from eternal life in Heaven. But God has graciously provided a substitute to take our place and finish the “game” in victory! ⚽️ Share this tract ( mwtb.org/products/make-the-right-call ) with the sports lovers in your life. Urge them to make the right call and trust in Jesus!

𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 Inward focus: Let go of self, hold on to truth To live victoriously as a Christian, you cannot have a half-hearted commitment to God. Your relationship with Him cannot be superficial. In Luke 9 and 10, Jesus sent out His disciples to preach the kingdom of God. They were told not to take money, food, or extra clothes, but to rely on God’s provision alone – something they saw clearly in the miraculous feeding of the 5,000 in the wilderness. They were to orient their hearts on eternity, not on the temporary. He challenged their desires to have the best positions and reputation, rather than to submit to hardship, rejection, and mercy for the sake of His glory – not their own. “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life...
GOD IS GOOD

Autumn is right around the corner 🍂 Check out this brand-new motion tract, and let people know that even though seasons change, God is always good and His mercy and grace never fail! mwtb.org/products/god-is-good ______ God is good, all the time. Even when life in this broken world is difficult, God is still good. Even when doubt and uncertainty flutter around us like falling leaves driven by the wind, He remains unchanged. The Bible says, “the goodness of God leads you to repentance” (Romans 2:4). His steady love and grace urge us to turn from sin and to trust in Jesus, who died and rose again to offer forgiveness and eternal life to all who believe. All the time, God is good. No matter the season, when we walk with God, His constant faithfulness gives us reason to praise Him: “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For...
