In a world full of so many distractions, we must take the time to notice what we turn to for comfort. Is it someone else, what people think, social media, money, career or things?

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” Colossians 3:23

We can find comfort and truth in the word of God—comfort that provides peace, rest, change, healing, and most importantly, guidance and
encouragement from our relationship with the Holy Spirit.

“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

Take time daily to step out of the world and into God’s word, and you will find a comfort zone like no other.
