If you just had an abortion, or are a family member / friend of the woman, we want to help you process post-abortion emotions over the next several days.

To The Relieved 

Perhaps you just had an abortion and are relieved. Maybe you’re glad or even emotionally unaffected. If this is you, have you no shame or remorse for what you’ve just done?

You just ended another’s life. You committed murder.

Is your heart that hardened, is your conscience so darkened that ending your child’s life produces no guilt in you? Do you not realize that, in the Bible, God says: “No murderer has eternal life”?

Are you happy that God says to you: “Because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed”?

In the days to come, may you weep over the evil you have committed, turn away from this wickedness of yours, and look to Jesus Christ for forgiveness of your sin, times of refreshing, and peace with God. 

And if Jesus gives you such grace, we encourage you to reach out to us so we may share the gospel of salvation with you.

To The Regretful

Perhaps you just had an abortion and are having second thoughts. Maybe you feel regretful, ashamed, or guilt-stricken.

If this is you, we want you to know that there still is hope.

Yes, it is true that you ended the life of your child, and that it was a wicked, irreversible act—and you know that, dear friend. 

But, it is also true that Jesus Christ can forgive your sin and clean your conscience. For, in the Bible, God says this concerning those who trust in Jesus: “I will cleanse them from all the guilt of their sin against me, and I will forgive all the guilt of their sin and rebellion against me.”

In the darkness that you experience in the coming days, we urge you to take your shame and run to Jesus—for He alone offers you abundant mercy and pardon, if you turn from sin & turn to Jesus forever. 

And if you find this grace in Jesus, we encourage you to reach out to us so we may comfort you in the gospel.

To Her Family / Friend

If you are a family member or friend of the woman who just got an abortion, we want you to know that you shouldn’t just tell her that “everything will be okay.” 

This woman has just ended the life of her child—which is a grievous evil, and not something that you should just sweep under the rug. In the Bible, God speaks about those who say “Peace! Peace!” when there is no peace—God says that He will punish such people. And even worse, if you knew she was getting an abortion & knowingly did nothing to try to stop her, then you are an accomplice to this murder as well.

Therefore, in the days to come, we urge you to turn from your sinful ways and seek Jesus Christ—who alone can give you and your family / friend true peace.
