If you let me reach you, I can teach you!

Let me tell you about a man that saved my life.

I was caught up in a bad situation—living the street life, involved with drugs, hanging with the wrong crowd partying, and other things that a person could do that wasn’t right. I had lost myself. I had lost my way.

I almost lost my life on many occasions. I’d given up on all hope of life. There was always a part of me that felt empty inside.

I started to visit church on holidays. One Easter Sunday after church was over, I  was still sitting there—I didn’t want to leave. Whatever I was feeling, I didn’t want it to end.

Weeks later, I gave my life to Christ. I’m not saying everything goes away all at once, but it’s the beginning of a new life. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17,

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

So much is happening in our world that would make anybody live in fear. 2 Timothy 1:7 says,

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Jesus says in John 16:33,

These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

In order to receive the benefits of God, you must be born again. Jesus said in John 3:3,

Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

How can you be born again?

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (Romans 10:9)

Come and enjoy the benefits of God with me. Let’s run this race together.

Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:1-2)

No matter what you have done, God loves you and so do I.
