My friend, time is short.
We are told over and over to use our time wisely and not to squander it. For time appears for a little bit, like a vapor, and then vanishes.
Life is the same way. Today please spare a moment so I can share a valuable point about time. Have you ever considered how much time you have left to live life before you run out of it?
The Bible says in Isaiah 55:6: Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near.
Tomorrow is not guaranteed for any of us.
Ephesians 5:16 says: Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Life is very brief—the time is urgent to repent and believe the gospel.
Romans 6:23 says: For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
One day, you see, all of us are going to be held accountable at the Judgment of God after we die.
Hebrews 9:27 says: As it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.
The Bible says we are all sinners, broken, and in need of God’s healing. We fail to keep God’s moral laws.
But you might say, “I’m a good person, I do charitable deeds, I am certainly better than most people.”
Well, honestly ask yourself these questions: have you ever stolen, lied, committed adultery, used God’s name for a curse word, etc.? One sin makes you a sinner, and God will not allow a single sin into Heaven.
God sent His Son, Jesus, to live a sinless life, to suffer and die on a cross, shedding His blood, and rising from the dead to become our salvation.
Romans 10:9-10 says: If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
The Bible says if you repent (have a change of mind) and believe the good news you just read now, you are cleansed, saved, and forgiven. Find a good Bible-believing church to attend and join other believers in fellowship.
The Savior welcomes you with arms open.-SZ
